Golden Touch Soccer Camp 2012
Camp Dates & Locations:
About Golden Touch Soccer Camp:
Commitment to excellence on and off the field is the emphasis of the Bronco Soccer Camp. Players will be divided into groups by age and ability with a low staff-to-camper ratio for concentrated teaching. There is a strong focus on individual skill development and first touch as well as introductory team tactics. Naturally though, "fun" will be the main ingredient throughout the trainings.
The goalkeeper is a key position and will be given specialized training with a well-rounded approach for the technical and psychological aspects of the position. Keepers will work on their hand-to-eye coordination, positioning, and footwork, as well as introductory diving.
Sean Jung, Camp Director - Sean is in his first season coaching the UGHS Broncos, taking over for coach Gregg Anderle in 2012. After coaching club teams (Sockers F.C. and Fichte Rams) in Illinois early in his career he came to Wisconsin in 1998 to attend Cardinal Stritch University. After playing four-years at CSU, he enjoyed a brief professional stint with the Rochester Rhino’s in New York, before returning to Wisconsin to pursue a mathematics teaching career. He coached two years at New Berlin West High School from '03-'04, helping to lead the lady Vikings to state in 2003. In the fall of 2004, Sean took a teaching job at Grayslake Middle School in Grayslake, Illinois where he began coaching their boys soccer team. It was this experience that Sean credits with completely transforming him for the better as a teacher, coach, and person. Coach Jung led a school team that had never experienced success to an undefeated championship winning season in 2009. Sean then came to Union Grove in 2011 and began coaching the boys and girls JV soccer teams, improving the boys win total by six in just two seasons.
